Vineyard
Current plantings include Chardonnay, Cabarnet Sauvignon, Cabarnet
Franc, Merlot and Viognier. The 2011 harvest exceeded expectations in both
quantity and quality, despite the poor weather conditions. We have branded
our wines as Quievremont, from the old French meaning "goat mountain";
as a reference to our family name, the surrounding mountains and our herd
of goats. Our Chardonnay wine will be ready for bottling in May 2012, and is
a delightfully fruity wine with strong hints of pineapple and banana. Our
Merlot will be ready around June 2012, and is tending to exhibit a crisp, fruity
flavor.
